Act of Kindness
Today’s story of kindness was submitted by InspireMore reader Glenna L.:
“My brother is on oxygen 24/7. We attended a reunion during this year’s Memorial Day weekend. When it came time to go back home, the vital small wrench/tool couldn’t be found. Several attendees (most were strangers) gathered up and hunted in the dark using their cell phone lights. My daughter prayed.
Several minutes later, it was discovered on the muddy ground! These same "rescuers" stood by a back door of a very old house and escorted my brother with his portable oxygen tank to our car and off we went to our respective homes. I nearly cried over their compassion, i.e. interrupting their small band playing on the front porch. I’ll never forget their act of kindness!”
