“Years ago, due to dire & unusual circumstances, I was sitting in my car, parked next to a cemetery in small town, Missouri for hours - with my gun in my lap … no gas /no money /& phone dead… contemplating my ‘life.’ A guy, noticing my Texas plates & my time parked, sent his wife to check on me with $20 bucks. She listened to my tears… she told me to wait, she’d send her brother, (the cop lol). He filled my car with gas, got me a sandwich & cigarettes & used his phone to get me on my way home So 3 kind strangers & my life went on to happy times back in Texas, I’m 75 now & still think about & thank them every day.”
