Today’s story of kindness comes from InspireMore reader Karen K.:

“The year was 1988. My husband and son's stepfather had recently died and Christmas was just days away. One morning we discovered a small wrapped gift on our doorstep, but no clue as to who it was from.

The next few days we continued to find one wrapped gift each morning. Most were Christmas-themed, like a nice doormat, a drum ornament (my son played drums). There were a couple of funny gag gifts as well as home-baked cookies. When I looked at the calendar I told my son I think someone was giving us a gift for all 12 days before Christmas. (Technically, the 12 days are to begin on Christmas Day, but many people think it's the 12 days before Christmas.) That turned out to be the case. We never discovered who was responsible for this sweet, thoughtful way to lift our spirits.”

We hope the unnamed Christmas angel knows the beautiful impact they made during such a tragic time in this family’s life. 😇
