“Like many others, my daughter, who lives in Brooklyn, is struggling to make ends meet. When I spoke to her to ask what I could get her for Christmas she said that she didn’t want or need anything. Instead she requested that I send her socks that she could distribute to the homeless in her neighborhood. It pained her to see them barefoot and cold in the winter weather.

I did as she requested and when I spoke to her recently she was happy to report that the socks were gratefully received. Many who got a pair told her how much they helped with their comfort and warmth. It’s a small act of kindness but one that had a large impact. We are going to continue this throughout the winter. So proud of my daughter’s kind heart!”
