Today’s story of kindness was submitted by InspireMore reader Patsy G.:

“My husband was hospitalized 3 days before my birthday. I had asked his male nurse on the day before my big day if he thought the doctor would release my husband that day, and told him that the next day was my birthday and some family members were coming to my home to celebrate it.

As his shift ended, he shared that the next day was his day off. When I visited my husband the next day, (my big day) I looked up to see the nurse standing in his hospital room. Behind him were a long line of nurses helping him to sing ‘Happy birthday.’”

As if we needed another reason to love nurses! 🥰
